The formulation of Stobicast L781.36 meets the stringent flame retardant requirements of the Household Appliances standard IEC 60335, featuring a GWFI of 960 °C (glow wire flammability index IEC 60695-2-12) and a GWIT of 850 °C (glow wire ignition temperature IEC 60695-2-13). Its versatile curing profile allows for flexibility, with curing times dependent on pot life, cast quantity, and temperature, and can be accelerated with heat application.
For optimal processing, Stobicast L781.36 is best applied using a two-component metering and mixing machine, which facilitates working with short pot lives and demoulding cycles. Ensure the parts to be cast are clean, dry, and free from grease for the best adhesion and performance. Proper storage is crucial; both components must be protected against humidity, ideally stored between 15-25°C. Original closed drums maintain a shelf life of at least 6 months at ambient temperature.
