Plexus® MA560-1 Two-part Methacrylate Adhesive

Plexus® MA560-1 is a high-performance, two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of thermoplastics, metals, and composites. Mixed at a 1:1 ratio, MA560-1 offers a working time of 55-70 minutes at 23°C (74°F). It achieves lap shear values of 500 psi in 3 hours and 1000 psi in 4 hours at a 0.75 mm bond line. Ideal for large structures requiring long open times, MA560-1 is commonly used in bonding stringers and liners in large fiberglass boats with bond lines up to 25 mm thick. This adhesive combines excellent fatigue endurance, outstanding impact resistance, and superior toughness. MA560-1 is gray when mixed and available in 400 ml cartridges, 20-liter pails, and 200-liter drums.
