Product Description

  • This PERMABOND® ES5516 is a unique, lightly thixotropic, toughened, heat-cured epoxy adhesive.
  • It is designed for structural bonding applications, capable of being tacked or sealed in place with UV light prior to the final heat cure.
  • Ideally suited for bonding magnets in synchronous motors and fixing small, close-fitting parts where mechanical clamping is not possible.
  • Exhibits exceptional heat resistance, maintaining high structural strength at 180°C, making it suitable for Class H electric motor bonding applications.
  • Provides good chemical resistance and excellent resistance to vibration, ensuring durable and reliable bonds on metals and composites.
