Product Introduction
Momentive SNAPSIL™ RTV157 and RTV159 are high-strength, one-component silicone adhesive sealants that cure at room temperature to form tough, resilient silicone rubber. RTV159 additionally provides enhanced high-temperature performance. Both products offer excellent mechanical strength, electrical insulation, and resistance to weathering, ozone, and chemicals. Their paste consistency enables effective application on horizontal, vertical, and overhead surfaces. As moisture-cure systems, they must be applied in section thicknesses of 6 mm (1/4 inch) or less.
