Momentive SILTRUST™ RTV8262 is a high-performance, two-part silicone elastomer developed for demanding electronic and aerospace potting applications. When mixed and cured at room temperature, it forms a robust silicone rubber featuring excellent mechanical strength, high tear resistance, and exceptional thermal stability up to 260°C (500°F). RTV8262 conforms to MIL-S-23586E requirements and is non-corrosive to copper, solvent-free, and primer-compatible. Its higher viscosity and strengthened mechanical profile make it ideal for mission-critical applications subjected to extreme conditions.
