Product Introduction
Momentive SILTRUST™ RTV681-LV is a highly reflective, durable silicone thermal control coating developed for long-term performance in harsh aerospace and environmental conditions. This two-part silicone system cures quickly, offers excellent adhesion to metals, composites, and organic substrates, and maintains flexibility even at extremely low temperatures. RTV681-LV can be applied as a semi-flowable paste or diluted for spray coating, providing broad processing versatility. Each batch meets ASTM E595 low-outgassing standards, making it suitable for satellite and space applications.

- Highly reflective thermal control coating with solar absorption as low as 0.13–0.16 depending on thickness
- Thermal emittance greater than 0.88 for efficient heat dissipation
- 100% solids formulation; can be diluted with optional Part C for spray or roller applications
- Convenient 1:1 by-weight mix ratio
- Long work time at 21°C (70°F) and 50% RH
- Fast full cure in 1 hour at 100–150°C, with optional room-temperature cure
- Meets ASTM E595 low-outgassing requirements
- Flexible coating capable of 3.2 mm (0.125 in) bend radius at –60°C
- Excellent dielectric insulation properties
