Momentive Silmate RTV1473 is a black, one-component silicone sealant formulated for formed-in-place gasket applications requiring excellent oil resistance. It cures at room temperature by moisture exposure to create a resilient, elastomeric gasket. Its thixotropic paste consistency ensures no sagging on vertical or overhead surfaces, while its strong adhesion, weather resistance, and thermal durability make it ideal for mechanical sealing applications.
