Momentive RTV116 is an extremely versatile, one-component, ready-to-use high-temperature adhesive sealant[cite: 532, 538]. It cures to a tough, durable, resilient silicone rubber on exposure to atmospheric moisture at room temperature. This self-leveling product is preferable when flow into small crevices is desired, and it releases acetic acid vapors during the curing process. Because it utilizes a moisture cure system, it must not be used in thicknesses greater than 6mm (1/4 in.).
