Gluditec HT5102 is a high-performance, high-temperature resistant inorganic adhesive designed for demanding industrial applications. This advanced ceramic powder-liquid adhesive offers exceptional bond strength and superior thermal shock resistance, making Gluditec HT5102 ideal for assembling, sealing, and cementing various materials such as porcelain, glass, and metal.
Key Features of Gluditec HT5102
- Offers excellent heat resistance, capable of operating from -40°C to 1649°C.
- Provides a strong mechanical bond for reliable assemblies.
- Exhibits good thermal conductivity and electrical insulation properties.
- Versatile for multiple applications including bonding, sealing, and potting.
Versatile Applications
The unique properties of Gluditec HT5102 make it suitable for a wide range of uses:
- Bonding and sealing porcelain components in high-heat environments.
- Cementing glass and metal parts where thermal stability is critical.
- Potting applications requiring robust thermal management and electrical insulation.
How to Use Gluditec HT5102
- Ensure all surfaces are clean and free of dirt, grease, or mold release agents.
- Thoroughly mix the solid (HT5102A) and liquid (HT5102B) phases in the specified proportion (7g A : 3g B by weight or 2.5g A : 1ml B by volume) to form a uniform, flowable paste.
- Apply the mixed adhesive to the surface to be bonded or sealed.
- Allow it to solidify with slight contact pressure after assembly. Recommended curing is 18-24 hours at room temperature, or accelerated at 80°C, depending on the amount of adhesive used.
Storage and Packaging
For optimal performance, store Gluditec HT5102 in a cool, dark place, protected from moisture. This product has a 1-year shelf life when stored at 20°C in its original, unopened containers. Standard packaging includes 1-quart and 1-gallon cans for both the powder and liquid components.
Safety Information
While studies indicate a low potential for carcinogenicity, direct skin contact may cause mild, transient reddening. Always remove adhesive from skin thoroughly with soap and water; DO NOT use solvents. In case of swallowing, seek medical attention. Avoid eye contact; flush with water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician immediately. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for comprehensive safety information.
