Epoxylite® 578 EB # is a single-component, zero-VOC, thixotropic epoxy resin intended for general-purpose applications. It is applied using Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI), a process used for electrical components where full resin penetration must be guaranteed. In VPI, the component is vacuum-treated, resin is introduced to cover it, the vacuum is released, and overpressure is applied. The component is then drained and cured in an oven.
