Elmotherm® VF 970 is a solvented varnish designed for the impregnation of rotating electrical equipment. It provides high bond strength along with excellent moisture, chemical, and Freon resistance. This varnish is applied using dip application, a simple method where the component is fully immersed to displace air, then drained, and cured in an oven. A hot dip process, where the component is pre-heated, can also be used for faster penetration and better filling.
