ELAN-protect® EP 411 is a single-component, modified epoxy resin with high thermal stability and excellent chemical and moisture resistance. It is used for processing traction armatures and field coils via Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) to ensure full resin penetration. The VPI process involves vacuum-treating the component, introducing the resin, applying overpressure, draining, and finally curing in an oven.
