BECTRON® PT 4842 is a medium-viscosity, one-component moisture-cured polyurethane thick film coating formulated to deliver high-performance protection and structural support for electronic assemblies. With a viscosity of 3700 mPas and a Shore A hardness of 45, it strikes an ideal balance between flow control and mechanical robustness. PT 4842 cures to a flexible, durable finish that adheres well to complex PCB substrates, resists chemical exposure, and remains stable under mechanical and thermal stress. It is touch-dry at room temperature within 4 hours and is free of solvents and VOCs, supporting environmentally compliant manufacturing.
