Product Introduction
BECTRON® PT 4840 is a high-viscosity, one-component moisture-cured polyurethane thick film coating designed for rugged electronic applications requiring maximum edge retention and localized protection. With a viscosity of 125,000 mPas and a Shore A hardness of 42, this thixotropic formulation provides excellent coverage on vertical or complex surfaces without sagging. PT 4840 cures at room temperature and is touch-dry in approximately 4 hours. Its durable, flexible film offers superior adhesion, excellent resistance to environmental stresses, and reliable protection at continuous operating temperatures up to 120 °C. The formulation is solvent-free and VOC-free, ensuring environmental compliance.
