Its 400-grit silicon carbide abrasive is engineered to deliver a 10% smoother finish than conventional 3M sandpaper and self-fractures for extended life. The flexible, lightweight A-weight paper backing features a waterproof design, allowing it to conform to various surfaces like paint, primer, gel coat, and metal. It is the perfect choice for scuffing glaze and spot putty before primer, especially aerosol primers, as part of Step 3 (Paint) in the 3M Body Repair System.
