This 1000 grit sandpaper is perfect for precision work during the painting phase of a repair. It utilizes silicon carbide abrasives mounted on a flexible, waterproof A-weight paper backing to deliver consistently excellent results and a 10% smoother finish than conventional 3M sandpaper. The abrasive self-fractures for a longer cutting life. Ideal for hand or machine sanding, this sandpaper is a key component of Step 3 (Paint) of the 3M Body Repair System, used for blending and smoothing primer and paint.
