The 3M™ Vitrified Grinding Wheel 92VH is a conventional grinding wheel with a vitrified bond, designed for conventional generating gear grinding operations. Vitrified bonds are primarily manufactured from synthetic, technical glasses known as low-temperature bonds. This construction makes the wheels insensitive to chemicals and allows them to be stored indefinitely. This particular wheel is powered by 93AS minerals, a mix of white aluminum oxide, monocrystalline aluminum, and white crushed ceramic grain.
