3M™ Vitrified Grinding Wheels 22VA are vitrified bonded grinding wheels that feature our NA series nano surface structure special grain. They are designed for precision grinding of gear parts where low thermal damage and high surface quality are required. These wheels ensure a stable surface quality and reduced mechanical damage to the workpiece, despite their high removal rate. The grain helps to stabilize and monitor temperature-sensitive grinding processes, reducing heat to ensure that thermal damage is virtually non-existent. Grinding with the 22VA is smoother than with sintered corundum, and the wheel can be dressed more easily, making it ideal for any workpiece requiring smooth material removal.
