3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Epoxy Adhesive EC-7236 B/A is a high-performance, two-component epoxy adhesive designed for strong, impact-resistant structural bonds. It cures at room temperature or with mild heat, making it highly versatile for various applications. This epoxy adhesive delivers excellent adhesion to a wide range of substrates, including metals, ceramics, plastics, and composite-reinforced materials.
Once cured, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Structural Epoxy Adhesive EC-7236 B/A offers extremely high mechanical strength across a broad service temperature range. It also provides exceptional environmental and chemical resistance, making it ideal for demanding applications such as aerospace. Available in both white and black versions, this adhesive has a 3:1 (B:A) mix ratio and provides a 60-minute work life, allowing ample time for precise positioning before setting. It reaches handling strength in approximately 3 to 4 hours and fully cures in 14 days at 72°F (22°C). It is available in cans or pails to suit various production needs.
