3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive EC-3501 B/A is a two-part epoxy adhesive designed for fast curing at room temperature to create a tough, durable bond. This thixotropic adhesive is ideal for filling pinholes in composite materials before painting and is also effective on metals and many plastics. With a convenient 1:1 mix ratio, it simplifies application and can be dispensed using bulk containers or Duo-Pak cartridges with the 3M™ EPX™ Applicator System for minimal waste and professional results.
The adhesive provides a working time of 5-10 minutes and reaches handling strength within 90 to 120 minutes at 75°F (24°C). Full curing is achieved within 8 hours at room temperature. Its thick formula ensures controlled flow, making it easy to apply with precision while reducing material waste. Designed for structural applications, it delivers high shear strength, making it a dependable solution for demanding bonding tasks across a variety of substrates.
