3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Instant Adhesive CA100 is a medium viscosity instant adhesive formulated to deliver exceptional strength and impact resistance on a wide variety of substrates, including plastics and rubbers. Once applied, this adhesive provides a fast handling time and rapid cure to help keep jobs moving efficiently.
Our 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Instant Adhesive CA100 is dispensed from a flexible squeeze bottle that allows precise application. You can apply it with a thin bond line by pinching for a precise drop or squeezing for a steady bead, making it easy to use for both small and larger bonding applications.
Once applied, this adhesive typically reaches handling strength in under 70 seconds and fully cures within 24 hours. The resulting bond offers high durability, with overlap shear strength exceeding 2,000 psi, providing long-lasting performance in demanding applications.
Instant adhesives, also known as cyanoacrylate adhesives, are strong, fast-acting glues commonly used in both industrial and household applications. They cure rapidly in the presence of moisture, forming strong polymer chains that bond surfaces together effectively.
3M instant adhesives apply directly from the container and rapidly achieve handling strength at room temperature. Often referred to as super glue, just a single drop per square inch can bond many materials such as plastics, rubbers, metals, and wood.
