3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Structural Adhesive EC-7202 is a two-part epoxy adhesive which combines high mechanical strength, excellent toughness and rapid cure at room temperature. This high-viscosity adhesive holds brackets or fasteners in place without additional fixture, and the adhesive cures to handling strength within 90 minutes.
Featuring high viscosity and excellent strength build-up, 3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Bracket Bonding Adhesive EC-7202 is a general purpose adhesive for interior bonding. This two-part epoxy adheres to a wide variety of materials typically used in aircraft interior structures. Its viscosity allows it to hold brackets and fasteners immediately in place, without the need for added fixtures. It also helps prevent running or dripping, eliminating mess. The adhesive cures to handling strength within 90 minutes, and achieves full cure in 72 hrs. @23 °C / 50 % relative humidity. Its overlap shear strength has been tested to increase from 0.0 MPa @30 minutes to 30.4 MPa @150 minutes.
3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Bracket Bonding Adhesive EC-7202 is available in a 50 mL cartridge for fast, easy and accurate 2-part mixing. It contains tiny 3M™ Glass Bubbles which provide consistent texture and hold bondlines to a minimum 150 micron thickness.
