3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Composite Surfacing Film AF 325 M, White is a thermosetting epoxy developed for surfacing composites. It delivers a smooth, void-free surface with minimal pinholes, reducing the need for surface filling or finishing and pre-paint preparation. This product is excellent for surfacing composite parts, offering superior performance across a wide temperature range, making it suitable for aerospace applications. Available in both white and blue, it provides color contrast to underlying composite prepreg, enhancing its versatility and usability.
AF 325 M, White is co-cure compatible with most epoxy composite prepreg systems at both 250°F (121°C) and 350°F (177°C). Its low-density formulation makes it easier for pre-paint surface preparation, offering smooth results with fewer surface imperfections. This surfacing film performs reliably from -67°F (-55°C) to 300°F (149°C), helping reduce subsequent surface filling, fairing, and sanding operations.
