The 3M™ Paper Roll 466UZ is built with a semi-closed coat silicon carbide mineral on a heavy, F-weight backing. An anti-static treatment helps control dust, making this a very good choice for sanding and finishing wood surfaces. Its silicon carbide mineral, a very sharp synthetic mineral, is commonly used for low-pressure applications, such as final finishing in whitewood sanding. While it breaks down faster than aluminum oxide, it produces a superior finish. The heavy F-weight paper backing is sturdy and durable, providing an excellent foundation for the mineral.
