3M™ Between Coats Finishing Pads and Contour Surface Stripping Pads are designed to make surface preparation easier and quicker. These tough and durable pads are used to prepare surfaces before applying the first coat of finish or sealer, and again between coats to achieve a super-smooth finish. They are flexible for conforming to curved and detailed surfaces like spindles and chair legs, effectively replacing and outperforming #2 medium/coarse steel wool without the risk of splintering or shredding. The pads can be safely used with chemical strippers and wallpaper paste removers, making them ideal for stripping coatings from even the most stubborn surfaces.
