3M™ Ultra Fine Finishing Pads are designed to replace “00” steel wool for superior surface finishing. These tough and durable pads will not rust, splinter, or shred. They are ideal for preparing surfaces before applying the first coat of finish or sealer and for use between coats to achieve a super smooth, professional result. The pads effectively remove minor blemishes such as bubbles and dust nibs that can appear during the final finishing stage. If the pads get clogged, they can simply be rinsed and reused. It is important to ensure surfaces are completely cleaned before applying stains or finishes to prevent blemishes.
