3M™ Aluminum Oxide Sandpaper 9000NA is a general-purpose abrasive designed for use on paint, wood, and metal. Available in 9 in x 11 in sheets with a very fine grit, this sandpaper is made with a tough and durable aluminum oxide mineral for long-lasting performance. The sheets can be cut to the desired size for use by hand, on a sanding block, or with a power tool sander. Sanding is an essential step in preparing a surface for a new coating. For the best sanding results, it is recommended to sand with the grain of the wood and work through a sequence of grits, from coarse to very fine, skipping no more than one grit in the sequence.
