VYLOSHOT® GM-960-RK40 is a black, high-performance low-pressure molding material developed for electronic encapsulation applications requiring exceptional adhesion and insulation properties. It has a specific gravity of 1.04, a melting point of 160℃, and a glass transition temperature of -65℃. The melt viscosity at 220°C is 300 dPa·s, offering stable flow characteristics for precise molding. The material maintains a low equilibrium moisture content of 0.2% and provides a Shore A hardness of 86, delivering a balanced combination of flexibility and mechanical strength. It also features a tensile strength of 4 MPa, tensile elongation of 520%, and tensile modulus of 31 MPa. The volume resistivity exceeds 1.0×1015 Ω·cm at 20°C, ensuring excellent electrical insulation. Additionally, the product demonstrates outstanding adhesion performance with shear strengths of 3.2 MPa on FR-4 (No-resist), 3.6 MPa on PBT (GF30%), and 3.6 MPa on 6,6 Nylon (GF30%). Peel strengths exceed 160 N/25mm for FR-4 (No-resist) and 140 N/25mm for PBT (GF30%), making it highly suitable for demanding applications.
