Product Description
3M Scotch® Electrical Semi-Conducting Tape 13 is an EPR-based (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) semiconductor material designed to connect high-voltage terminals. The tape remains stable without plasticizing and maintains consistent conductivity over a wide temperature range. Its conductivity is unaffected except by low-viscosity oils, and it does not alter the conductivity of the semi-conductive cable sheath.

- Replacement of Semi-Conductive Layers: Used to replace the semi-conductive layer beneath the metallic shield in junction boxes and for repairing medium-voltage cables.
- Electric Field Management: Creates a uniform electric field around high-voltage splices by bonding with the insulating material, thereby reducing electric field stress.
- Voltage Equalization: Balances the electric field around the bolted joints of insulator bars.
- Shielding: Forms a protective shield for splices in solid-insulated cables.
