Plexus® MA2090 is a two-part methacrylate adhesive designed for structural bonding of composite, thermoplastic, and metal assemblies. Combined at a 10:1 ratio, Plexus MA2090 was uniquely formulated to eliminate problems associated with adhesive sag and slide, even when applied to a vertical surface. In addition, MA2090 does not boil in gaps up to 1.5 inches thick. As with most other Plexus methacrylate systems, MA2090 requires little to no surface preparation. MA2090 provides a unique combination of excellent fatigue endurance, outstanding impact resistance, and superior toughness. Plexus MA2090 is pigmented blue and is supplied in 380-ml cartridges, 5-gallon (20-liter) pails, or 50-gallon (200-liter) drums to be dispensed as a non-sagging gel using standard meter-mix equipment.
