Product Introduction
ELPEGUARD® SL 1307 Family consists of solvent-containing or aqueous 1- and 2-pack ready-to-use systems with very good resistance against moisture and condensation, providing excellent corrosion protection for assembled PCBs (e.g. e-corrosion and migration). It features a typical dry layer thickness of less than 80 µm and is suitable for coating flexible circuits (“flex-to-install”). The coating can be soldered through for repair or removed mechanically using the blasting method. Coloured-transparent, opaque, or fluorescent adjustments allow simple checking of the coating layer for completeness under daylight or UV light (black light). Recommended auxiliary products include Cleaning agent R 5817, Cleaning agent R 5888 (for cleaning product carriers), and flow cups for determining viscosity (flow time) in accordance with DIN 53211.
