Product Introduction
ELPECAST® Wepuran VU 4452 series offers a large variety in terms of viscosity, colours, processing time, and pot life. It includes numerous hardness and elasticity adjustments that cover the full range of Shore hardness, with good resistance against water, moisture, lyes, acids, and many chemicals. Elastic adjustments serve as a low-cost alternative for silicone casting compounds. The series features highly elastic properties (VU 4452/61 HE) and high mechanical resistance (VU 4452/41 SV-HF). Additionally, VU 4452/41 SV-HF complies with hazard level 3 of the railway standard EN 45545-2:2013 with an oxygen index (OI) of 51% in accordance with ISO 4589-2:2006. Recommended auxiliary products include Adhesion promoters EH 13.950, sealing mastic EH 13.271, mould release agent EH 13.650, and cleaning agent R 13.780.
