Product Introduction
ELPECAST® Wepuran VT 3406 offers a large variety in terms of viscosity, colours, processing time, and pot life. It includes numerous hardness and elasticity adjustments that cover the full range of Shore hardness, with good resistance against water, moisture, lyes, acids, and many chemicals. Elastic adjustments serve as a low-cost alternative for silicone casting compounds. The formulation is colourless transparent with good weather resistance and UV light stability, designed for moderate demands on optical properties—ideal for encapsulating assemblies that must remain permanently visible. It is low-viscous for good flowability, highly elastic, and easy to remove for repair purposes. Recommended auxiliary products include Accelerating agent B 4400, adhesion promoter EH 13.950, sealing mastic EH 13.271, mould release agent EH 13.650, and cleaning agent R 13.780.
