Elantas CONATHANE® EN-2550 is a two-component, filled, flame-retardant polyurethane potting system.

Application of CONATHANE® EN-2550
Potting and encapsulation of electronic components, modules, circuit boards, assemblies and related devices
Application / Curing Schedule
- Mixing: Mix EN-2550 Part A and Part B in the specified ratio until homogeneous.
- Preheating: Components may be preheated up to 60°C if a reduction in viscosity is required.
- Degassing: If hand-mixing, degas the mixture under a vacuum of >27 in. Hg before use.
Curing Options:
- Option 1: Cure for 7 – 10 days at 25°C / 77°F
- Option 2: Cure for 16 hours at 60°C / 140°F
- Option 3: Cure for 4 hours at 100°C / 212°F
Demold Time:
- Option 1: 12 – 16 hours at 25°C / 77°F
- Option 2: 1 – 2 hours at 60°C / 140°F
- Option 3: 30 minutes at 100°C / 212°F
