Application of CONATHANE® EN-2521
Potting and encapsulation of electronic components, modules, strain sensitive circuitry, transformers and coils.
Application / Curing Schedule
- Mixing: Mix EN-2521 Part A and EN-2521 Part B in the specified ratio until homogeneous.
- Preheating: Components may be preheated up to 60°C if a reduction in viscosity is required.
- Degassing: If hand-mixing, degas the mixture under a vacuum of > 690 mm (27 in.) Hg before use.
Curing Options:
- Option 1: Cure for 7 days at 25°C / 77°F
- Option 2: Cure for 16 hours at 80°C / 176°F
- Demolding Time: 8 – 10 hours at 25°C / 77°F
