High velocity, solvented duct sealant

Bostik 40-113 High Velocity Solvented Duct Sealant is a quick-setting, solvented, synthetic rubber based product, formulated for sealing longitudinal and flange joints in high velocity air conditioning and ventilation systems.

It provides a tough, resilient air-tight seal which prevents loss of internal pressure from the duct. It’s both waterproof and flame retardant and has excellent adhesion to metal surfaces.

Application Temperature	Above +5°C
Service Temperature	-30°C to +90°C Dependent on operating conditions
Coverage	50 linear metres of 3mm diameter bead per C30 cartridge
Drying Times	Touch Dry: 5 minutes approx.Through Dry: 24 to 72 hours Dependent on bead size and drying conditions. Bond strength will continue to increase for about 7 days. Do not test duct for pressure tightness for at least 48 hours.
Fire Certification	Independently tested to BS 476: Part 6 – Pass Part 7 – Class 1 Building Regulations: Class
