3M™ Very Low Outgassing Polyester Seal Tape 6692 is a polyester backed, single coated sealing tape for hard disk drive assembly and related electronics sealing applications.

Bleeds static charge rapidly to reduce risk of product damage due to electrostatic discharge
Low water vapor transmission rate provides an effective contamination barrier
Low outgassing & low extractable ionic content helps reduce risk of chemical contamination
Clean removability from a wide variety of substrate materials eliminate cleanup during rework operations

APPLICATIONS

Sealing of Hard Disk Clamshells.
Sealing of other electronic devices or instrumentation requiring a low outgassing adhesive tape product.
Other permanent applications requiring an exceptionally high chemical purity, single coated tape.
