General Information of 3M Scotch High-temperature Masking Tape 214
3M Scotch High-temperature Masking Tape 214 is good for 30 minutes at 350°F (177°C) on most surfaces. The adhesive is sulfur-free which makes it one of the few tapes that can be used on copper, silver and other precious metals.

Scotch® Tape 214 complements Scotch® Tape 213 in high temperature masking tape usage and should be evaluated at the same time.
Will generally withstand bake cycles up to 350°F (177°C) for 30 minutes – even on treated metals. Performance is governed by total time, temperature, surface tape is applied to, and any other coatings and conditions.
Should not be subjected to outdoor exposure or prolonged periods of sunlight exposure as tape may become very dicult to remove.
Key Applications
Can be used in a wide variety of high heat, treated metal, and stain resistant applications. It is generally considered only when one of these factors is a problem.
