3M™ has recently made a significant announcement that is set to impact various industries: by the close of 2025, the company will cease the production of all fluoropolymers, fluorinated fluids, and products containing PFAS-based additives. This decision marks the end of an era for 3M’s specialized product lines as Novec coating, cleaning and cooling can be mentioned recognized Novec™ series—such as Novec™ 1700, 1702, 7100, 7200, 7300, 71DE, 72DE, 71DA, 72DA, 73DE, FC 3283, FC 40, among others—that have long been valued for their unique properties and applications across a range of sectors.

Product Description of Precision-V 3900 Solvent
Techspray® Precision-V 3900 is a PFAS Free ((follow PFAS regulation by US EPA) and 100% US Manufactured solvent. So having this domestic supply chain where some of the customer who are military defense or government contracts, recision-V 3910 would be a best option for as application wise.
Precision-V 3900 is ideal where a safer, nonflammable, non-PFAS (per EPA TSCA 8(a)(7) and 100% USA made cleaner is required. It has a much lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) than other fluorocarbon containing solvents that contain HFC and most HFEs. Precision-V cleaners leave no residue and evaporate extremely fast, and are nonflammable with no flash-point. Electronics, optics, and metal parts are quickly and thoroughly cleaned, eliminating the need for further rinsing. Precision-V is non-ozone depleting, so ideal replacements for cleaners containing Freon, HFC-141b and AK225.
Precision-V 3900 is a very high purity solvent suitable for wide variety of applications, including oxygen service exposure and heat transfer, electronics testing and precision cleaning applications.
Exposure to Precision-V solvents is less hazardous than many other solvents commonly used in vapor-degreasers: e.g. TCE (Trichloroethylene, CAS #79-01-6), nPB (n-Propyl Bromide, CAS #106- 94-5), and Perc (Perchloroethylene. CAS #127-18-4).
