Product Introduction
Momentive SILTRUST™ RTV8112 is a two-part silicone elastomer designed for reliable potting and encapsulation of electronic assemblies. Supplied as a matched base and curing agent system, RTV8112 cures at room temperature to form a durable, flexible silicone rubber with excellent electrical insulation and mechanical characteristics. It is non-corrosive to copper, provides strong primer-assisted adhesion, and maintains its elastomeric properties under continuous heat exposure up to 204°C (400°F). Conforming to MIL-S-23586E specifications, RTV8112 is ideally suited for high-reliability aerospace, defense, and commercial electronic applications.
