Product Introduction
3M™ Novec™ 2704 Electronic Grade Coating is an advanced fluorinated polymer solution, specially designed for high-performance moisture and corrosion protection. Diluted in 3M™ Novec™ 7200 Engineered Fluid, this coating offers ultra-low viscosity and surface tension, making it easy to apply and fast drying without the need for thermal post-curing. Ideal for protecting printed circuit boards (PCBs) and sensitive electronic components, 3M™ Novec™ 2704 forms an ultrathin, transparent barrier with outstanding hydrophobic and oleophobic properties. It is non-flammable, non-ozone-depleting, low in toxicity, and RoHS compliant, making it a sustainable solution with minimal environmental impact. The built-in UV fluorescent dye ensures easy inspection and process quality control.
3M™ Novec™ 2704 Features
Easy Application: Dries in seconds without post-curing, with excellent wetting even under low standoff components.
UV Detectable: Contains a built-in yellow-orange dye for inspection under UV light.

Solvent Resistance: Insoluble in common solvents like heptane, toluene, and water.
Material Compatibility: Adheres well to metals, ceramics, glass, polymers, composites, and laminates.
Eco-Friendly: Low VOC (less than 5%), low global warming potential (GWP), non-flammable, and RoHS compliant.
