Paper Release Liner is white glassine paper with a silicone coating on both sides. This silicone-coated glassine paper liner features a slow-release coating on one side and a medium-release on the other for specialized applications. Our paper liner (compared to film liner) is one of the more economical substrate options, and also some of the most popular with variable thickness and customizable size/ appearance to meet your specific requirements.
Also known as silicone-coated release liners, GLT120 is used to protect sticky surfaces and to ease their handling. Release liners are used in a wide array of markets and applications where it is critical to achieving a perfect coating to protect and deliver materials such as pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA) used in tapes and labels to their end destination. Beyond the protection of self-adhesive or sticky materials, they are also fantastic process aids and are used to enable casting and composite production processes and offer non-stick hygienic solutions for cooking and baking.
GLT120 is glassine-coated paper, which is laminated with a double 25-micron pet film Layer, and both sides are coated with polydimethylsiloxane (CAS No 9016-00-6).
