Product Description of PERMABOND® 743
PERMABOND® 743 is a flexible cyanoacrylate adhesive, exhibiting improved peel strengths when compared to other grades. It has excellent impact and vibration resistance, and is suitable for bonding dissimilar materials which could be subject to thermal shock or thermal cycling. 743 is best suited to flexible substrate materials and is ideal for bonding silicone when used in conjunction with Permabond Polyolefin Primer (POP).
Permabond® Flexible Cyanoacrylates includes: Permabond 741, Permabond 743, Permabond 743HT, Permabond 748.

Surface preparation
Surfaces should be clean, dry and grease-free before applying the adhesive. Use a suitable solvent (such as acetone or isopropanol) for the degreasing of surfaces. Some metals such as aluminium, copper and its alloys will benefit from light abrasion with emery cloth (or similar), to remove the oxide layer.
