Elantas Elan-tron® MC 62/W 363 is a two-component, filled epoxy system that is fluid and self-extinguishing. This system is halogen-free and solvent-free, offering excellent electrical and mechanical properties. It features low shrinkage, a low exothermic peak, and effective heat dissipation, making it suitable for immersion in seawater. The system is UL 94 V-0 listed (File E116643) and is also UL listed for CTI, HAI, HWI, GWIT, and GWFI (File E116643). Additionally, this product is RoHS compliant per the European directive 2002/95/EC and meets the UNI-CEI 11170-3 requirements for fire protection in rail-tram vehicles.
Instructions:
- Pre-Filled Products: Ensure to check and carefully rehomogenize the material if any settling is present.
- Mixing: Add the appropriate quantity of hardener to the resin and mix thoroughly, avoiding air entrapment.
- Optional Steps: For some applications, pre-heating the components or performing de-aeration under vacuum before casting can be beneficial.
