3M™ 1146 Tape is a 6.5 mil polyester film/glass filament tape coated with a thermosetting, pressure-sensitive rubber adhesive.

- For maximum solvent resistance and holding properties, the tape should be thermoset at one of the following cycles:
1 hour @ 150˚C (300˚F)
2 hours @ 135˚C (275˚F)
3 hours @ 120˚C (250˚F)
APPLICATIONS
3M 1146 tape is especially suited for heavy duty equipment applications, bundling armature coils, anchoring, lead holding of heavy gauge wires in transformers, coils and electric motors.
