Smart Speakers or Intelligent Loudspeakers are fitted with a voice assistant and have a wide range of useful capabilities. Possible uses go far beyond replacing or streaming music, telling a story, and many further entertaining functions. Smart speakers often serve as control centers for numerous smart home functions.
As a voice assistant, to carry out commands, the loudspeaker records the words spoken in the room via the built-in microphones and waits for a signal word for analysis to software on the Internet. This uses artificial intelligence (AI) to interpret language and recognize individual voice commands.
To provide consumers with such a wide range of applications, the smart speaker is structured by many individual components. Various loudspeakers with specific properties and frequency spectra, such as sub-woofers, are often integrated.
Complex internal structures and special insulation or dampers provide a high-quality audio replay. The vibration of individual components or of the housing must be reliably avoided by corresponding adhesive and attachment technology. Microphones that are usually aligned in several different directions record spoken commands in the surroundings. The motherboard with a variety of processor units and memory must be well thermal managed as they are the centerpiece of the smart speaker but make up a tiny space due to modern minimized design.
To facilitate user, nowadays, there are many shapes of the smart speaker such as cylindrical speaker, sphere speaker,… However, when considering manufacturing smart speakers, there are basically the following applications:
DETAILED APPLICATIONS:
1. Cover Assembly
With the cover – the main body of the speaker, it would be impossible to mold this part as a single piece. To increase sound quality while still remaining cost-competitive with higher-end speaker cabinets, the speaker’s main body would combine 2 separate parts which are glued together and the seam ground smooth.

3. Thermally Conductive Management
As there are a variety of electronic components assembled in a limited space, thermal management plays a dispensable role in a smart speaker’s lifetime. This is common with smart speakers because they need to store lots of data on the device and quickly process complex audio signals.
