70-07A is a solvent-free, low viscous, sprayable sealant based on Silyl Modified Polymer (SMP) with a special spray structure for sealing overlapping seams, welded seams and construction seams in automotive and coach work.
FEATURES
Solvent-, isocyanate- and PVC-free
Very good UV resistance and aging properties
In general, good adhesion on several substrates without the use of a primer
Permanent elastic within temperatures from -40°F to 212°F (–40°C to +100°C)
Neutral, odorless and fast curing
Paint compatible with most industrial paint or lacquer systems, both alkyd resin and dispersion based (due to the large scale of different types of industrial paints a paint compatibility test is recommended)
Paintable after skin forming (wet-on-wet); this will not influence the cure rate
Contributes to corrosion protection; does not attack metals
By adjusting the spray pressure and nozzle, it is possible to obtain a rough or a fine spray structure.
APPLICATIONS
Sealing of welded, overlap, and construction seams
Overlaps of seams between PVC and metal
For coating inside car wings, boots and bonnets and even as under-body coating
As repair material in all above mentioned applications
Sealing narrow seams and sealing small holes
As a vibration reducing coating
